| I first heard of this film while at the Banff Film Festival in 2007. 2 guys spent 70 days in Alaska following a story they believed in. Almost no budget, with minimal help they crafted a story that's heartfelt, passionate and important (after creating ORTA under similar circumstances and even less budget, these guys appealed to me). The story follows the questionable future of Bristol Bay and it's unrivaled, pristine salmon habitat. Threatened by a proposal for the worlds largest open pit mine the film let's both sides of the argument speak, leaving the viewer to choose a side. This is an impressive film on many levels and it gets the Gripped "2 Thumbs Up" from Ken and I.
